Raleigh-Durham Kitchen Cabinets Renovation Process and Options
After reviewing our PRICING Guide simply give us a call for an in-house consultation and measurement. Our staff will walk you through different options for your specific kitchen. We will hand you a written estimate for your job.
Once work begins we will spend the first day:
· Removing all cabinet doors
· Setting up the kitchen for work
· Cleaning, prepping the cabinet boxes
· Applying the base coat on cabinet bases
Cabinet doors will then be taken to be sanded, primed, sanded, prepped, painted, and glazed (if desired).
The cabinet doors will be given a topcoat and the base cabinets will be glazed and given a topcoat.
Lastly, the doors will be re-installed with new hardware (if desired) and the job-site will be cleaned.
The entire process should take about a week. During this time you will be able to use your kitchen for the necessities.
Only about a third of the work is actually done in your house. The rest is done in our portable, dust-free workshop!
Additional options include painting the interior of the cabinets, all new doors, self closing cabinet hardware, trim, and crown molding installation.
Here are a few examples of the transfomations:
(Note that these old doors happen to be stained, but we can easily re-paint already painted doors too!)
